2008 BioOne Publishers and Partners Meeting
An Annual Seminar to Promote Scholarly Communication

Registration is now available for BioOne's 5th Annual Publishers and Partners Meeting to be held from 8:30am–4:30pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 in Washington, D.C. This year's meeting will be held at the American Geophysical Union's Conference Center at 2000 Florida Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. This important meeting provides an open forum for discussion among journal publishers, librarians, and leading industry providers, and enjoys a robust turnout each year. We encourage participation by anyone interested in the activities, strategies, and continued development of BioOne. We look forward to seeing you in April!

To Register: Simply send an email with your name, title, organization, and full contact details to lauren@arl.org. There is no cost to register or attend this event. For your convenience, we have scheduled our meeting the day after the Allen Press Emerging Trends in Scholarly Publishing™ Seminar, to be held on Thursday, April 17 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Separate registration for this event is required.

Hotel Reservations: BioOne has secured a limited room block at the Hilton Washington (located at 1919 Connecticut Ave, NW, across the street from our meeting space) for the convenience of our attendees. The special group rate is $199/night.
